Adult Learn To Ride
BikeDFW Hosts the Adult Learn to Ride Class a month
Have you been wanting to learn to ride a bike? Perhaps you have young children who you would like to be able to ride with? Perhaps you learned to ride a bike when you were younger but haven't ridden in years and need a refresher?
Then our Adult Learn to Ride Class is perfect for you.
The class is taught by volunteer instructors under the supervision of League of American Bicyclists Certified Cycling Instructors, and costs $50.00.
Classes are one on one instruction and generally run about 2 hours.
As part of the Class your personal instructor will work with you to help you learn how to balance, pedal, brake, and steer your bicycle in a safe and comfortable setting with no pressure.
Your instructor will also ensure your helmet is fitted properly.
You don't need to own a bicycle as we have loaner bicycles available for you to use, but if you bring your own bike on on-site mechanics will check to ensure it is operating properly and safely for you.
Classes are usually on the first Sunday of the month in Plano from 9am to 11a
